SPRING FORTH NOW - DAILY MEDITATION

And Jesus cried out again with a loud [agonized] voice, and gave up His spirit [voluntarily, sovereignly dismissing and releasing His spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan]. And [at once] the veil [of the Holy of Holies] of the temple was [a]torn in two from top to bottom; the earth shook and the rocks were split apart. The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints (God’s people) who had fallen asleep [in death] were raised [to life]; and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection, they entered the holy city (Jerusalem) and appeared to many people. Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, they were terribly frightened and filled with awe, and said, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

Matthew 27:50-54 (AMP)

There is a very powerful tool in storytelling that illuminates and provokes reflection and action, sharing experiences toward resolutions, the transformation of the what is to what should and/or can be. Shared experiences toward shared resolutions is the outcome of your Power Of Witness which lays a foundation to build, transform both you and your space. Your willingness to share your experiences, tell your story can be the impetus for life-changing actions for the good, serving a two-fold purpose, your re-discovery and/or discovery of insightful lessons as well as illuminates your practical experience and insight as a rubric for others toward a pathway for their way forward. Thus, exercising your Power Of Witness should challenge ethical reflection of that which is liberating and relevant, intrinsically true to who you are and your promised expected end. The process to your expected end, pathway of life, invokes practical application of the story/shared experience through the deconstruction, reconstruction, and construction of that story/shared experience to produce paradigms fitted for your lived experiences, making God’s Word for your life flesh, real. Remember God does absolutely nothing by happenstance or accident, each and every one of your experiences are Divinely ordered, thus, each of your experiences have intrinsic value and your experiences unearths innate deposits of life from God within you. Jesus on the cross, the centurion acting in his capacity all converged to create a narrative, a story, a shared experience when analyzed provides a rubric, model. These times, amid the brutal and unmitigated murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Avery and countless others, the frustration and anger of a few that disrupts and destructs admin the COVID-19 pandemic, pleas for us to find an ethical way out in which we not only survive but also thrive. The story of Jesus and the centurion as well as our present shared experiences, reveals, I believe, a need for us to act strategically, with specific intent toward an expected end and/or resolution. Jesus in His dying personified sacrifice, ethical leadership, and legitimacy which required that He give, when necessary, execute the plan, and operate in that which should be, the expected end, a witness that even through death, hell, and the grave you can arise and have all power and authority. Know that you and your experiences are intended benefits for not only your life but provides the power of illumination for others! Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit by your sharing experiences toward shared resolutions, provoking reflection in order to glean lessons learned, transforming your life and assisting others to spring forth in God’s promise for their life and life more abundantly!
