DAILY MEDITATION

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

In the midst of all we are experiencing; the challenges, unpredictability, and incapacity seen very clearly through the COVID-19 pandemic, we have one trusted space, our relationship and reliance on God. It is in God that we stand under the pouring out of His grace, favor on our lives that we are not yet consumed, overpowered by our experiences. The pouring out, giving of God unto us, despite and in spite of us, is not because we earned or deserved it but simply because of the love and favor of God on our lives. God’s giving to us is unconditional and in response to God’s giving, we are challenged to operate in an attitude of gratefulness by pouring out what has been poured into us, our Power Of Giving. In the exercise of our Power Of Giving, we return to God our gratefulness and our willingness to serve as His living presence in the world, witnessing His power, presence, and promises. Despite and in spite of us, everyday we see and experience the love and grace of God and all He ask for us is to do the same with one another and His creation. The COVID-19 is and should challenge us to social distancing and as a result of God we decide in this critical moment of our experiences to Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit of giving and exercise the Power Of Giving, pouring out God’s love and power through our actions of responsibility and accountability to community and its well-being. It is in these times that we must Catch The Wind for alternative ways to touch and make real, making the Word flesh in the lives of one another and our world, receiving and sharing new mercies everyday, Catch The Wind!
