DAILY MEDITATION

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

II Corinthians 5:16-18

You and I are new creatures because we decide to live and live according to God’s purpose and plan. We are flesh indeed and as a result it becomes a struggle for us to live as God would intend, living above the fray of life and flesh and thus the Power Of Staying Connected is imperative. Our connection to God, His Spirit allows us to overcome our flesh and its desires for us to go our own way or what we believe is more convenient and safe instead of God’s way. Catch The Wind of God and release yourself from you and your flesh to who you are in God, the becoming of what God intended for your life. Declare that you will live, overcome your flesh and walk each and everyday with God to perfect, strive, become what He has intended. Today, on this celebration of Martin Luther King who dared to declare and act on God’s intent for his life, by writing out and posting in a place that is continuously visible to you, your declaration, I will statements. “I will perfect . . . that which is God’s intent for my life, I will exercise my God-given authority over . . . that which would separate me from God’s intent, and I will walk each and every day perfecting . . . which is God’s intent for my life.” Beyond declaring and writing, plug in and turn on the power of God, the source of life, and let it flow, Catch The Wind and be, a new creature, a new person, old things will pass away and behold all things will become new!
