DAILY MEDITATION

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 1:26-31

God has created life for us to LIVE and has challenged us into a co-creator relationship in which we prosper, be Fruitful and Multiply. God chose to create humankind last so that He would ensure the provision He has provided is already in place as well as both cared for and nurtured. God has intentionally invited us to care for and nurture, replenish His creation as an act of trust in us to glorify Him as Creator and us as the crown of His glory entrusted with His creation. The trust God has placed in us is fulfilled by our willingness to care for and nurture what He has provided, discovering and relying on His provision for abundant living. We serve as delegated representatives of God, giving us the authority, right, and privilege to represent Him in the world and to receive His inheritance, His provision. Thus, with delegated authority comes delegated responsibility. God has provided everything we need to LIVE in the fullness of His promise of life and life more abundantly, including the creative nature as the likeness of Him to take what is before us and create that which is good. God trusts you and I to do what is god, whatever is before us, by seeking to take on our c-creator status with Him, His likeness, walking in His will, assignment, purpose and plan for our lives. If we choose to take up our delegated responsibility coupled with our delegated creative relationship with God both in His likeness and abiding in Him we fulfill God’s creative purpose for our life and in that which He has created, both heaven and earth, so be Fruitful and Multiply for it is God intended plan. God has delegated to us responsibility, relationship, and purpose with Him and His creation to LIVE in the fullness of His promise of life and life more abundantly!
