DAILY MEDITATION

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. Lord, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. I cried to thee, O Lord; and unto the Lord I made supplication. What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper.

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Psalm 30:5-12

If we are honest with ourselves and the life we live we often are frustrated by life’s challenges that places us at crossroads where we are forced to ask the question, how much more can we take. It is at this critical moment of our lives where we must make a choice to give in to life’s challenges or decide to LIVE and Live Prosperous in the promises of God for our life and life more abundantly. Life is a journey and the end result is abundant life forever, eternity but getting through and to the destination is the process, a necessary element, and if we had our rathers, we would not go through the process in order to get to our destination. King David offers us from his life’s journey some tools for us to LIVE through and in all things toward the promises of God, the destination of our life and life more abundantly and LIVE eternally. David, through it all, learned that one must be equipped with endurance, an endurance that transcends the circumstances of life by being focused on God’s Word, a man after God’s own heart, no matter what it looks like, who is on your side or what you perceive you have lost or done to jeopardize God’s Word. Endure through it all by holding on, gripping the solid rock and assurance of God’s promises, His Word and as you do so you exam your own life, decisions, and actions that brings you into better alignment with God’s purpose and plan for your life. As you exam yourself, you position yourself to reconcile, better align you and your life to God’s will but also you see, are enlighten by the power of God working in and through you and around you, strengthening and increasing your faith in God and His Word for your life. LIVE by enduring, examining, and being enlighten and in so doing you will Live Prosperous through and in all things, accessing and possessing the life and life more abundantly not just upon your arrival to your destination but also through it all, including during the process!
