DAILY MEDITATION

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. . . . If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Galatians 5:16-18; 25

When we Live By the Spirit we are released form the confines of law and sin. The Spirit is a free, boundless, and unconstrained being that will not be bound or contained by anything or any one. If we decide that we will yield our lives, decisions, and actions to the leading and guiding of God’s Spirit that is within, before us and behind us we will be set free from anything and any one that would separate us from God. God’s Spirit releases us to God so that we might follow His ordered steps and walk into the very promise of life and life more abundantly. The law constrains us because of our natural inclinations in the flesh to give over to the flesh; thus, we must allow ourselves, world and flesh self to decrease so that the Spirit within would increase. It is sin, separation from the will of God, that enters our lives to deceive us and sway us to wrong and eventual destructive directions. It is the Spirit of God within, before, and behind us that covers and tugs us into he path of life, the presence of God for us and our promised well-lived and joy filled life. LIVE and in so doing yield to the Spirit and allow the Spirit to lead and guide you into the promises of God for your life!
