DAILY MEDITATION

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Romans 8:7-17

We are of God and the evidence of our connection and being an offspring of God is our willingness to Live By The Spirit. To Live By The Spirit demands that we feed the breath of God inside of us that makes us living souls. In the flesh we are subject not to God, we may look like Him and are in His image but cannot be living souls as He intended until we yield to His Spirt, the breath of God in each and every one of us. The flesh led by our mind and our sense of achievement and desires gets in the way of us living the well-lived and joy filled life promised. To negate our flesh and desires, we must feed the Spirit of God within and be not just like Him but manifest Him in our actions and deeds, allowing the Spirt to renew our minds and thus dictating our actions, to LIVE and LIVE fully. God by His Spirt raised Jesus from the dead in order to fulfill what He declared, giving us all power, dominion over everything including the hell and death of our experiences. Know that in each and every experience of your life, including tribulations, therein lies God’s opportunities to reveal the wonderful and fearfully made you in order to LIVE abundantly. See and seize God’s opportunities for your life by the Spirit and ride it to your life and life more abundantly. As you ride the wind, Spirit of God, you will be able to determine the path of life for you by the strength of the wind of God dwelling in you, empowering you see God’s purpose and plan, vision, for you and your circumstances and LIVE. Feed The Spirit of God within and Live By The Spirit and all God promised awaits you as you willingly follow His lead and guide to your land of milk and honey, your life and life more abundantly promised and prepared just for you!
