DAILY MEDITATION

This day the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. Thou hast avouched the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice: And the Lord hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments; And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken.

Deuteronomy 26:16-19

We have a covenant with God that if we keep His Word we shall be blessed; blessed in the city and in the field, blessed going out and coming in, blessed everywhere the soles of our feet shall trod, blessed in the work of our hands, just blessed! God has made a covenant, contract with us if we are willing to operate within His framework for our life and life more abundantly we shall enjoy, LIVE and Live Fully in HIs blessings! I wish I could say that this is such an easy fulfillment of the contract on our part but life is hard; the choices we make do not always seem clear and to be honest can often feel very uncertain but God’s promises, contract is solid. As the saints would say, He may not come when you want Him but He is right on time, despite and in spite of our shortcomings and failings. We may not can see our promises and honestly down right frustrated about it but tarry, wait on it, His Word will not lie, what He has said will come to pass for we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. God invites us into a loving relationship with Him in which we trust Him explicitly and He promises in the fullness of time to bless us over and beyond what should be. The challenge for you and I in the tarrying space, the waiting room, is to keep working the works of our hand according to His assignment on our lives, expecting and flexible to receive; to LIVE and the flood gates of God’s promises per the contract will flow and we will get soaking wet!
