DAILY MEDITATION

December 3, 2018

How do the beasts groan!  The herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

O Lord, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness,

and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.  The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

Joel 1:18-20

Life with it’s difficulties can create a mindset that says that we are defeated and that there is no way to achieve that which has been promised, life and life more abundantly, therefore we must diligently seek to Transform Spaces of our life that support and nurture the fulfillment of our promise.  Our mindset must be reframed so that we see beyond what is to that which should be.  The power of our relationship with God has been given to us through the sacrifice of Christ to ensure that we view life through the lens of our becoming.  Seeing the vision, the process of becoming is critical to us taking charge of our lives.  Our relationship with God is our insurance that the difficulties of life, even though they are real, are subject to our God, the Lord of all life, and that He can and will work out everything for our good.  The building out of our well-lived and joy filled life is in our hands and our connection to God, allowing His Spirit to transform us and our spaces for that which is our promise, is our tool of transformation with what is to the becoming of what should be.  Occupy Your Promise by viewing life through the lens of becoming fueled by our relationship, faith in God who has everything under His control and have given us delegated authority to act in such a way that what is, our spaces are transformed for the good!
