DAILY MEDITATION

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:4-10

The reason that we have our being, we move, have life is because of the grace of God. The grace of God is the experience of God’s favor over our lives. Who we are, what we have, and where we are is simply because God has shown us favor, not because of our works or how good we are but instead how good He is. We may not be in an ideal situation or what we think our life should be but whatever state it is it could be worst and with the attitude of always expecting life and life more abundantly we release the power of God’s favor in our thinking and action, fueling our faith to overcome and inherit all things. We have not been consumed because of God’s favor; He chose to allow whatever exist in our lives to be a tool of transformation producing our Transformed Lives to bespeak His glory. Our lives have been changed because of our awareness and reception of God as the Lord of our lives and thus we experience God’s presence in and through all things. What should have taken us out and/or extinguished our lives has and have no chance because we dwell under the shadow of the Almighty. We are alive and are living souls simply because God decided to allow us to exist and to do so with a plethora of opportunities and possibilities. Therefore, we live with a spirit of expectancy for great things because we are recipients of God’s favor even when we do not deserve it. Occupy Your Promise under the grace of God and anyone or anything that stands in your way has no power to stand or prevent you from living in the fullness of your life and life more abundantly promised by Him, that is His favor, grace released in and over your life.
