DAILY MEDITATION

But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

I Corinthians 8:8-9

Having a Transformed Life releases us from the people, places, and things that will hinder our building out our well-lived and joy filled life that is also inclusive of our witness. At points in our life things can look innocent, permissible, and convenient but may not necessarily be good for our witness. A Transformed Life views whatever is before us and our decision to proceed not just in the short term but most importantly in the long term. What looks good right now may not be good in the long term. As we are centered and focused in our God-given assignment that brings us life and life more abundantly, we must be mindful that it is not just about us but also about the Promisor and adequately reflecting God in our being and doing. Transformed Lives does not focus on getting the promise but also about our process and receiving serving as a tool to draw people to the Promisor, the One who promises and provides the life and life more abundantly promised by Him. Occupy Your Promise by being and doing that, which gives you access to your promise but also reveals your witness, process honoring and glorifying the Promisor, the God of our life and life more abundantly!
