And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.). Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Acts 5:12-16

Transformational Living overshadows the realities of your life to transform them into the promises of God. One may question how can my living in the promises of God transform my situation that is so real, the answer is in the question, the revelation of one’s assurance and power of choice in which way and how one will live. If you choose to live in what should be it implies that I am being and doing that which takes what is and begins to fashion my life into what should be. You cannot expect the what should be, the realization of the promises of God, to just happen if you are not prepared to live in it. The process of transformation suggests that you are preparing yourself for what should be. As a woman prepares to give birth over nine months, they shape and mold their life for the purpose of the delivery as well as the baby develops and matures for the delivery. You must prepare and shape your life for the deliverance into the promises of God. The early church centered their focus, their being and doing for the fulfillment of the promise of life and life more abundantly, working at it every day, preparing themselves and thus casting a shadow on what is in order to shape what will be. Being centered requires courageousness in the face of the adversity and tension of change. The more courageous you are, the more what you fear will not be able to hinder or prevent you, but instead serve as a light to scatter darkness under the shadow of your choice, decision to live in your life and life more abundantly. Your courageousness in the face of adversity and tension fuels your belief that what should be, should be and empowers you to command, speak those things that’s are not as if they were. Occupy Your Promise today by centering yourself, your being and doing, with courage to command your space, overshadowing what is and casting light toward the promise of life and life more abundantly!
