DAILY MEDITATION

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

Ephesians 6:6-8

God’s invitation to Co-Create with Him the life and life more abundantly must transcend our fleshy desires to please men and the world. The challenge to build out a well-lived and joy filled life cannot not be hampered by our fleshy desire to please men and be accepted. If we choose to allow our narrative to be defined by people, places, and things, they drive and thus we go along for the ride and accept whatever comes our way. God has given you and I the power to transform our lives into that which He has ordained and prepared for us. We must be willing to take the risk; act in faith for that which should be for our lives will be with God’s help. Pleasing people, places, and things instead of walking worthy in that which brings about our life and life more abundantly abandons the power of God within us that flows that we might have life. Live in the promises of God, even at risk of rejection from the world, the only real joy comes from walking and living in God’s will and way for your life. Your ability to stand in the midst of the pressure of your surroundings on God’s promise keeps you honest with yourself and with your promise. Occupy Your Promise with a moral conscious of what is right and good for the life and life more abundantly promised not just to you but also to your entire space. What God has given you is not just to be redounded for your benefit alone but for God’s glory and for the profit of all!
