Put God in charge of your work,
then what you’ve planned will take place. God made everything with a place and purpose; even the wicked are included—but for judgment. God can’t stomach arrogance or pretense;
believe me, he’ll put those upstarts in their place. Guilt is banished through love and truth;
Fear-of-God deflects evil. When God approves of your life,
even your enemies will end up shaking your hand. Far better to be right and poor
than to be wrong and rich. We plan the way we want to live,
 but only God makes us able to live it.

Proverbs 16:3-9 (The Message)

Strategic Planning requires a central focus and command center that allows one to strategize and successfully direct action toward the expected outcome. The command center serves as the overseer as well as director of action on the field. The field for a well-lived and joy filled life is life itself and thus requires a look from above that helps one to see not only the immediate but also the potential activity. God who is the Creator of life and the author and finisher of your promise is positioned to provide the necessary intelligence and insight to direct action for the accomplishment of what should be. Place your command center with God allowing Him to be in charge of your actions and activities that lead to the manifestation of His promise in your life. God has a purpose for your life and directs all of life to align with that purpose and plan. Your work, activity, is a direct outgrowth of what God’s plan and purpose is. Thus, the power of your relationship with God, the overseer, equips you for the potential obstacles that life and the enemies of the fulfillment of your promise will bring by allowing you to have a heads up in order to overcome. Therefore, God is before, preparing us so all along the way in order for us to exercise righteous engagement, choosing not the easy way but instead the best, right way that in long term yields the fulfillment of your promise. Occupy Your Promise by putting God in charge who leads and guides you to purpose, around and through life’s obstacles to the right pathway that glorifies God and raises you to your well-lived and joy filled life.
