DAILY MEDITATION

And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision. And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I. And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down. And the Lord called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again. Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed unto him. And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the Lord had called the child. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

I Samuel 3:1-10

To Visioneer that which should be as declared by God for your life requires one to be in the appropriate position to hear from God and flow with Him and His Word! The appropriate position is where you are, wherever that might be! Often we think that somehow God requires us to be where we are suppose to be to receive from Him and the outpouring of His blessings, abundance on our lives, it is not true. If God waited to bless us in our abundance we would not need God. God desires for us to want and need Him in such a way that we are willing to acknowledge Him and give Him glory despite our space and circumstances. God has promised and thus has done everything so that we can experience life and life more abundantly, to fully embrace and live in His Promises, Occupying Your Promise. Go ahead, right where you are, and as the urban lingo says, “handle your business.” Live in your now and do it in such a way that you strive, press to be everything God has intended, working like you are working unto God to build out a well-lived and joy filled life. You may not be or have everything someone else does or even what you think you need, just go ahead and work your life where you are. As you are handling your business be sensitive, recognize your possibilities of advancing in that, which should be. Your sensitivity fees you from your box, allowing you to move and flow with God, pursuing Him and His path for your life. Moving and flowing with God heightens your anticipation for the your promise, fueling your hope, your sense of expectancy, incentivizing you toward fully embracing and living in your promise, Occupying Your Promise!
