DAILY MEDITATION

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Acts 13:38-39

Living in The Spirit releases us, from us - our guilt and shame. The fact that we are actually human is important because it reveals that we are subject to mistakes, failure, both intentionally and unintentionally. Our failings, falling short of the mark set for us by God and ourselves, is the opportunity for the spirit of darkness to consume our life with the intent to paralyze and/or force us to give in and up. Do not make the mistake of becoming frustrated with your inability to be perfect and to get things always right. Get up, dust yourself off, and keep pressing toward the higher calling of God and establishing goals for yourself. Elijah Mays said, it is “not failure but low aim is sin.” We cannot allow ourselves to fall into the trap that the fact that we all have guilt and shame, in our past, present and future, to become a hinder for us advancing and possessing the promise of life and life more abundantly, God already make worked it out. Grab hold to and pursue God in The Spirit that justifies you despite the law and being able to get all things right. Jesus, the gift of God to all humanity, justifies us that we might be released from our guilt and shame to be one with God. Your or mine perfection is not required but what is, is our release to Live in The Spirit, to be lead and guided into the path of life, the presence of God where there is fullness of joy and at His right hand pleasures forever more. Let’s Go In not of our own steam or perfection but that of Christ who justifies us and makes us right, despite and in spite of us to possess the life and life more abundantly promised!
