DAILY MEDITATION

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:10-14

Living in The Spirit keeps us focused on the goal. In order to achieve that which should be one must understand that any and all things possible and impossible will happen to prevent you from living in the life promised. The task of evil and darkness in the world is to prevent you from living in what has been promised, the life and life more abundantly realized. Therefore, the chaos and confusion of life comes to serve as distractions from your ultimate goal of what should be. In order to combat that, which seeks to hinder and detour you from your promise, we must remain focused. Remaining focused, as difficult as it may be, requires for us to apprehend the fullness of God not withstanding the chaos and confusion. The fullness of God gives us power of resurrection, meaning anything that would form to prevent what should be may take its toll but we will rise through it and above it. The power of resurrection is naturally coupled with the fellowship of suffering, being willing and determined to go through in order to get to. The Spirit enables apprehending God fully, His power and the task of getting through! The Spirit leads and guides us through, adjusting accordingly, to the struggle before us so that we leverage God’s power over the struggle in order to win. The determination required of us lends to our acting forwardly, pressing through toward the higher, the promise of life and life more abundantly in and through our situation.
